 The Learning Center is designed to improve members’ academic performance and provide them with one-on-one tutoring in all subject and content areas. The center is open for grades three through twelve. The goals are to reinforce and develop a member’s skills in reading, writing and mathematics. The above is accomplished by establishing a learning climate that encourages task completion, cooperative learning, regular attendance, punctuality, neatness, and a commitment to education. One-on-one tutorials and small groups are primary ingredients. The program is sequential in structure, and registration is required, however, "Drop-Ins" are welcome. |
