Advanced Guitar Program
Designed for second year and advanced students who have made
the commitment to take their proficiency to higher levels.
Band/Ensemble Program
A performance-based program bringing together qualified students
in an ensemble setting; using balance, blend, sensitivity, and
listening as a way of understanding and obtaining the proper
band sound.
Music Theory Program
A program aimed at second year and advanced music students
reinforcing basic music concepts and lessons, integrating
theory as a regular part of the music learning process.
What is Jazz?
Through workshops, concerts, and historical literature, and
applicability to their major instrument this program introduces
members to jazz and exposes our students to an American musical
tradition.
Percussion 101
This program introduces midget and junior aged members to
techniques for playing various types of drums and other percussion
instruments from different multicultural traditions.
