In an effort to continue services to the boys from the Milliken Clubhouse community, The Boys' Club of New York is instituting a free daily bus shuttle service to and from the Harriman Clubhouse beginning with the 2003-04 school year. The Harriman Clubhouse is located approximately 12 city blocks from the current Milliken Clubhouse at the corner of 10th Street and Avenue A. The service will be provided by “Rosado Bus Services” of Corona, NY 11368, (718) 699-7575. Proper supervision will be available at all times; two part time staff members will be on the bus as well as the in the waiting area supervising new arrivals. An adult serving as the Bus Shuttle Service Supervisor will be retained to oversee the program and communicate with families.

All members Explorers, Juniors and Intermediates will be expected to use the shuttle service once their parents sign a Shuttle Service Agreement. It will be the responsibility of the parent to make sure that their son is arriving on time to the waiting area. If a member is absent from the program, we would appreciate the parent call the phone number provided on the Shuttle Service Agreement form. Parents must decide on one daily pickup and drop off. If you have a need to change at any time during the season, the Shuttle Service Coordinator will have the necessary paperwork for parents to sign.

It is of the utmost importance that parents are at the waiting area before their sons arrive from Harriman. Supervision is in place only to welcome the boys back to the Milliken Clubhouse not to hold members for an extended period of time. Picking your son up late from the waiting area will be a basis for canceling his shuttle privileges.
