ASA Athletic League
In order to encourage healthy physical development and a love of athletics, ASA members participate in the ASA Athletic League, an organized intramural sports program, featuring numerous sports. In the ASA Athletic League, members participate in regulated and competitive sports competition on a weekly basis. The sports included in the league are basketball, flag football, soccer, hockey, volleyball and waffle ball.
ASA Jamborees
Twice during the year, ASA boys gather together for a day of community and athletic competition called the Winter Jamboree and Spring Fling. ASA members from all three clubhouses come to play in pool and ping pong tournaments. The centerpiece of the event, though, is the clubhouse versus clubhouse basketball tournament. Winners of each tournament receive medals. Through these events members establish and strengthen bonds with their peers.
ASA Heisman Luncheon
In collaboration with the Heisman Foundation, each December, ASA hosts a luncheon featuring previous Heisman Trophy Winners, the award recognizing the “Outstanding College Football Player in the United States.” ASA members meet and talk with these athletics, who also offer words of inspiration to the group.
