College Placement

| Trip to Columbia University |

| Trip to Drew University |
Through a series of retreats at BCNY’s Camp Cromwell, trips to colleges and college fairs, visits from College Admissions officers, SAT Prep Classes (offered free-of-charge to ASA members), workshops and individualized counseling, ASA offers its members a comprehensive college placement experience. Students begin the process in the 8 and 9th grades with visits to New York City colleges. Students then are required to attend SAT prep classes and meet regularly with BCNY staff to discuss college options and requirements. In their 12th grade year, students are guided through the application process with an experienced college placement counselor. At each of these stages, boys learn about academic requirements, college life, and financial aid. These sessions serve to prove that college is an attainable goal for every member. Over the past two years, ASA members have attended the following college preparatory activities.
