Alumni Legacy Committee - Statement of Purpose
Knowing the important role The Boys’ Club of New York played in our lives, and the lives of countless former members, we collectively have come together to encourage greater volunteerism and sustained financial help for this institution from BCNY alumni. Our goal is to establish continuous support for BCNY’s programmatic efforts and summer camp for our boys. We do this with the understanding that maintaining the essential programs that engage and challenge our members is the best way to keep our boys off the streets and help shape a positive direction for them in these important developmental years. We alumni understand that much of whom we are today we owe to The Boys’ Club of New York. As products of this institution, we recognize that we have the greatest responsibility to leave a legacy that ensures this Club will be there for our boys well into the future.

Alumni Communications Committee - Statement of Purpose
The Alumni Communications Committee’s (ACC) purpose is to promote the welfare of The Boys’ Club of New York (BCNY) by promoting the relationship between BCNY and its growing community of alumni. The committee supports alumni programs and services, facilitates communication with alumni, and seeks to strengthen alumni bonds of fellowship and professional associations through the enrichment of the BCNY alumni experience. The committee will leverage the resources, talents and initiatives of alumni and friends to advise and support the alumni association and BCNY in achieving their respective missions and goals. The committee will communicate the vision and mission of the BCNY and keep the alumni familiar with the programs and activities of BCNY. Furthermore, the committee will inspire alums to serve, advocate, and support, strengthens and contribute to the financial stability of BCNY. Lastly, the committee encourages and fosters a lifelong alumni connection with BCNY.

BCNY Alumni Association - Preamble
“We, the former members of The Boys' Club of New York, realizing the problems that face the boys of our community, do hereby join ourselves in an organization for the furtherance of the work of the club, which we feel is one of the institutions of our city best suited by tradition and potentialities to meet the needs of the boys.”
The association encourages and promotes the membership and participation of all BCNY Alumni members at monthly meetings and fund and friend raising events.

Alumni Education Committee - Statement of Purpose
The Alumni Education Committee encourages the Independent School Placement Program (ISP) student’s engagement, volunteering and mentoring. The committee promotes fellowship and social activity among the current ISP students and alumni. The committee encourages growth by providing venues for students’ personal and professional development. The committee stimulates opportunities for students to contribute by fostering an atmosphere in which education alumni are encouraged to return to give back to BCNY by means of their time, talents and resources.
