Dontay Downer a current freshman and former Gerry Clubhouse member was placed at Loomis Chaffee School by BCNY’s Independent School Placement Program in 2011.
In true BCNY fashion, Dontay has already been named to Loomis’ honor roll and earned his first varsity letter in cross-country running.
The Independent School Placement (ISP) Program was established in 1957 and is the nation’s oldest placement program for first generation students. Since its inception, the program has successfully graduated over 1,800 boys. Each year, BCNY supports over 250 students in independent day and boarding schools throughout the country. Loomis Chaffee School, located in historic Windsor, Connecticut, is regarded as one of the top preparatory schools in the country.
