On Friday, December 14, Cultural Arts Director Karina Cerrato and several Abbe Clubhouse members will be braving the holiday crowds
to visit Santaland at Macy’s in Herald Square to mail letters to Santa.
But the boys aren’t just hoping for new toys and games; for every stamped letter to Santa Macy's receives, a $1 donation will be made to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, which strives to enrich the lives of children with life-threatening medical conditions through its wish-granting work.
Members have been hard at work crafting their notes. This year, their messages are particularly poignant, and many members want little more than for Hurricane Sandy victims to find peace this holiday season.
