"The Boys’ Club is about intensity and love. Standards are tough, everything matters and the staff lead with their hearts" – Dick Cashin, Trustee for over 15 years

Why give?

The Boys’ Club of New York (BCNY) serves over 4,400 boys every year. Members join as young as 6 years old, and many stay on with BCNY through young adulthood (18 years old).

Our dedicated staff lead boys in a variety of after school programs and services including academic and homework help, music education, photography, basketball, baseball, swimming, camping and much more.

For many, The Boys’ Club of New York is simply, a safe space to be,  away from negative influences and distractions.

BCNY Makes a Difference:

  • Education - Our programs help boys stay in school and graduate. On-time graduation rates for boys in New York City are hovering at the 43% level – we are battling this statistic through our tested programs.

  • Sports – our members learn discipline, sportsmanship and develop healthy physical habits for life.

  • Music and the Arts – Free instruction in drums, guitar, bass, saxophone, keyboard and performance ensemble through the Josie Robertson School for Music and Art.

  • Character development – High expectations and rules create a culture of positive peer pressure. Our goal is to help our members become men we can all be proud of.
