Programs designed to help our members thrive
Bringing The Clubhouses To The Boys
To keep our boys active and engaged during the lockdown, BCNY staff immediately began creating digital programming.
With Virtual BCNY, members could take advantage of fitness challenges, homework help, cooking lessons, fitness classes, and book discussions…just as they would in their clubhouses. Teens could participate in virtual college tours, along with High School and College Access workshops, and stay focused on the future.
On average, 124 boys and young men participated in Virtual BCNY every day
Becoming Career Ready
This year, our boys kept their focus on future success with our Career Prep programming. They worked on their resumes, participated in mock interviews, developed their networking skills, and gained knowledge in financial literacy and professional etiquette. In the spring, BCNY invited Girls Inc. to participate in virtual career panels with young professionals from the media and finance industries.

BCNY’s Career Prep Program
Career Prep helps members to become workforce-ready by helping teens secure internships, providing workshops focused on improving interview skills and resume writing, and through BCNY’s Teen Training Programs.
“This was very helpful and I would definitely suggest this program to everyone I know,” BCNY 11th grader.
