All credit card payments are processed by Blackbaud who processes credit card payments for philanthropic organizations around the world and who adheres to the stringent Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) and Payment Application Data Security Standard (PA DSS) by encrypting and tokenizing all card information and preventing BCNY from accessing card data. Blackbaud implements additional payment security measures, such as fraud mitigation tools, that ensure credit card information is, and remains, safe. BCNY collects personally identifiable information, such as name, organization, complete address, phone number, email address, and other information necessary to process a donation, event registration, and/or support fundraising operations. BCNY uses a secure online payment processing service who adheres to the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) and Payment Application Data Security Standard (PA DSS) by encrypting and tokenizing all card information and preventing BCNY from accessing card data.
To the extent any donations or registrations are processed through a third-party service provider, donor information will only be used for purposes necessary to process the donation or registration.
BCNY does not sell, share, or trade donor names or personal information with any other entity, nor send mailings to donors on behalf of other organizations.
